Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Compensation: Up to $80K base + bonus

Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare general journals, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Fixed Assets Management: Manage and record fixed assets and associated depreciation.
Prepaid Accounts Management: Manage and record prepaid general ledger accounts.
Expense Recording: Book expenses related to fleet expenditures.
Inventory Management: Manage and record inventory adjustments and reserves.
Reconciliations: Prepare various monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Journal Entries: Reconcile and post journal entries related to undeposited funds.
Projects: Engage in projects as needed to support the accounting department.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; Associate’s degree in Accounting required.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in public or corporate accounting required.
Skills: Strong foundation in accounting principles and advanced Excel skills, including v-lookups, formulas, and pivot tables.
Attributes: Highly motivated and organized problem solver with excellent attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
